Override Quote Pricing

To override system default pricing while entering a quote, enter the new multiplier or discount in the field highlighted below. You may also override system default pricing by modifying any of the pricing fields within the line item.

Note: Entering a whole number i.e. 75 becomes a discount.
Entering a decimal number i.e. .75 becomes a multiplier.

Example: If the item is $100 list and you apply a discount of 75 the item's net will be $25.
If you apply a multiplier of .75 the item's net will be $75.

Note: If you change the list price while entering a quote, you can choose to update the pricing on the item master by checking the Add/Update check box located in the bottom right corner of the entry line. Updating the pricing here will also record the user name and date that the item master pricing was changed.

Negititvie Unit Pricing: Negative unit pricing can be entered on a quote. Negative prices cannot be added to the item master but can be overridden on the quote line item for discounts etc.
