Job Tracking

Job Tracking allow you to keep tabs on the process of a new project or job. You can begin entering as little or as much information on the job you want and update it as the information comes in. In the Edit Job screen you will notice a number of tabs: Contacts, Stages, Mfgs, Notes, and Quotes. Each of these tabs allows you to enter additional information regarding your Job or Project. Additionally you can generate aJob Summary or Job Tracking Report from this screen.



Contacts- Enter any contact you want to associate with the job such as a General Contractor, Architect or Engineer etc. These contacts can come from your database or added on the fly by clicking the add contact icon.



Stages - This section allows you enter or create the stage for the current project.  





Mfg -
Enter the projected manufacturers you are targeting on the job. (Note: If you have already entered a quote for this job the manufacturers will already be listed.) Information you can include here are competitors, estimated value by manufacturer, new or existing business, won / lost and free form notes.





Notes
- Add unlimited number of free form notes. Additionally you can time stamp your note and select if you want to create this as a reminder note to show on the calendar.
Additionally you can upload a document to store with the job. Click > Browse to locate the document then upload to store the document with this job. Note: You will have the option to attach this document when you email a quote.




Quotes - Any quotes already issued against this project or job will be listed here.



Report - You can create a quick report from this screen by making your selection from the report menu. (Job Summary or Job Tracking Report)
