Broadcasting Quotes
ISQuote allows users to generate a general quote and broadcast to a number of customers at one time.
Two things are very important here:
The pricing will remain the same for all customers receiving the quote.
The quote WILL put the broadcasted customers name at the top.
The system will remove any mfgs that the customer is not approved to quote.
To begin a Broadcast Quote check the Broadcast Email box on the Generate Quote page, the page will change to Broadcast mode.
Broadcast screen selections:
- This area contains the filters to sort the list in the “Broadcast Selection” below. You can filter on the following: Contact Group, Salesperson, Territory, Contact Type and City. You can also use the Search field to find a select customer.
- Broadcast Selection - This area displays all contacts and customers that are in your database. To add a customer to the broadcast, click on the (+) sign next to the contact. This name will now be added to the list under the “Email To” section and will be highlighted indicating it has been added to the distribution list. To remove a customer from the list, click the (-) next to their name. See Below.
- Email To - Create Contact Group (Distribution Group) You can save your selections by creating a Contact Group to use for later.a. Enter a name for the group you wish to saveb. Click the Create Contact Group buttonc. You also have the ability to add the contacts to an existing group or replace an existing group by checking either of the boxes: Add To Group or Replace Group.
- CC To - Displays the names of the people that will CC or BCC on the quote. To remove, uncheck the box next to their name. When Broadcasting a Quote – The quote will display each individual customers name.
