Understanding a Pricing Matrix -
ISQuote allows you to price quotes by item, item type, item quantity (tier pricing), customer, customer type or territory. You may also price items by using any combinations of these shown it the grids below.
For each combination we have associated a Price Code for your reference. (I1 - I5 (Item Specific Pricing) and P1- P5 (Regular Pricing)) . This Price Code will be displayed on each line on the Quote Details screen. You can view the pricing by placing your cursor over the Price Code, and a small window will appear displaying the pricing.
Figure 1. below displays Item Specific Pricing. You can choose to make this a tier priced item by entering a minimum item quantity. Example: Item: 100T has a price for one and a better price when the customer buys 6 -11 and then another price for 12 or more. Your minimum quantity would be set to 0 for the first price break, 6 for the next and 12 for the last. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you use item quantity price breaks you must enter a base price break of zero first. Then enter your next price break. 6, 12 and so on.
In addition to setting the optional pricing breaks, you can set pricing for one specific customer on one specific item. Each Price Code I1-I5 allows for a different scenario, see the Item Pricing Description column for pricing options.
