Adding Item Series There may be times when you would like to add a "Series" of items to a quote. An example would be a fitting that comes in numerous sizes or a part that comes in numerous colors. Before you can add a series of items to a quote you must first create the series.
To accomplish a series of items you can apply this two ways. One way would be to edit the item you wish to add to a series, locate the "Series" field and input the series name. Add a number to the "order" field to indicate the placement of the item within the series.
NOTE: A SERIES CANNOT HAVE THE SAME NAME AS A PART NUMBER!
Note: Be sure to use the same exact name for the series, miss-spelling a series name will result in a missing item within the series.
An quick way to create a series is to do this in the "Mass Change Items" screen. Select "Mass Change Items" from the main menu, locate the items you wish to change and apply them here. See Below:
