Add a New Job
Select > Jobs & Quotes from the menu bar.
If you are not on the Job tab, select it from the top of the screen then select > New.

You will now be directed to the Add Job screen shown below.
Fill in the appropriate fields and select > Save.
Note: Job Name and Bid Due Date is required to generate a valid job. All other information on this page is optional.

Section 1:

Enter the job name (Required) |
| Date Entered: |
Defaults to today's date. |
| Bid Due Date: |
Enter the bid due date. (Required) Enter the date manually or select a date from the calendar. (Note: The bid due date defaults to today's date. Change the date if necessary by entering it manually or by clicking on the calendar icon and selecting a date. |
| Awarded To: |
Enter who the job was awarded to. You may not know this at the time and can be entered at a later date. |
| Date Awarded: |
Enter the date the job was awarded. You may not know this at the time and can be entered at a later date. | Section 2:
| Job Information: |
Enter any job information. Location of job, address, city, state, zip. |
| Plan Reference: |
Enter a plan or job reference code. This is an optional field and can be used as you desire for job information. Such as the plan code or page etc. |
| Plan Location: |
Enter the plan location reference. This is an optional field and can be used as you desire for the job |
| Job Notes: |
Enter job notes. Notes are for internal use only. | Section 3:
| Owner Information: |
Enter the job owner information. Company name, address, city, state, zip. |
| Contact Name: |
Enter the job owner contact name, phone & fax number and email address. | Section 4:
| Job Tracking: |
Select from the drop downs the appropriate Job Category, Salesman, Territory & Office. Note: The logged in users name will default here. | When you are finished entering the information on the Job, click Save to add additional information pertaining to the Job such as job contacts and job stage. You may also skip this step by clicking Save & Add Quote to move on to the next step of Adding a Quote to a Job.
