You many add an item to the database on the fly (while entering a quote) by selecting the add item icon  from the page.
 To maintain the integrity of your database, care should be taken not to duplicate an item!
Once you have opened the window to add a new item, you will be required to replace the pre-filled date with the following information:
Item number
Item description
Item manufacturer
Item price
Note: When adding an item on the fly, the add item screen will have pre-filled the last item added to the quote. If this is the first item on the quote, the fields will be blank.
Use the pre-filled cells as a reference and replace with the new data.
Note: Items added "On the fly" are set to inactive by default. If you want the new item added to be an active item, uncheck the appropiate box.
